I designed a set of promotional branded materials for the 2023 AIGA Design Conference. The Conference took place in October of 2023 in New York City. The theme for the 2023 conference was “reassemble.” I created three posters that captured the “reassemble” theme in a dynamic and typographic way. When I picture reassembling in New York City, I think of all of the crazy construction work that is constantly being done in NY—the vast cranes and scaffolding that cover the city are constantly reconfiguring and updating. The large blocks that populate the poster are supposed to resemble or represent large metal structural beams that hold buildings together.
